(Silver Spring, Md.) - Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, ID., Science Channel and Military Channel experienced strong 3Q09 ratings growth across multiple demographics, driven by the success of new and returning series and specials. Individual network claims are referenced below.
In addition, the Discovery Communications portfolio of networks is up +14% in P25-54 vs. 3Q08, while non-DCI cable was up only +0.2% and broadcast down -19%.
