Discovery Channel in Finland ended its first quarter on a high note with a 5.9% national share (all tv-homes) — an all-time record for the network. Additionally, among all pay-TV channels in the country, Discovery Channel's audience share rose to 7.68%.
Audience research shows that Discovery Channel viewers in Finland continue to become more loyal, with Men 25-39 watching an average of three hours on the record-breaking day. Late afternoon and early fringe hours nabbed the highest ratings, featuring shows such as DIRTY JOBS, REALLY BIG THINGS, OVERHAULIN' and MIAMI INK.
