Discovery Channel in Denmark Records Highest-Ever Share Among Young Men

Discovery Channel in Denmark experienced its highest share ever among Men 25-39 in April 2009. The record-breaking share of 4.19% in the demo also contributes to the 38% increase over 2008 shares for the first four months of 2009. These measures are based on all tv-homes; if measured only among homes with Discovery Channel, the share grows to 5.64%.

The audience growth for Discovery Channel in Denmark is attributed to the core audience (M25-39) watching the network for greater periods of time than before. The most popular programs in April were a mix of Discovery Channel classics and new series, including TIME WARP, DESTROYED IN SECONDS, MYTHBUSTERS and LA INK.
